Scholarship is taken very seriously at Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Study hours are distributed among active Brothers based on GPA. The lower your GPA, the more study hours you are required to have per week. Each active Brother has a personal scholarship portfolio in which progress and grades can be recorded. We maintain a library full of textbooks as well as a test file and notes for any Brothers use. ΣAE is very firm about making it to class and wants you to know that it is okay to have fun in college, but school comes first!

Continuing Education- Sigma Alpha Epsilon is one of the few Fraternities on campus that maintains a Continuing Education program. Through our Continuing Education program, we bring in speakers to inform our members on issues of the day, as well as practical advice for after college. Last year, we brought in speakers from Diversity Memphis, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), The Center for Research on Women, and SCORE (Service Corps of Retired Executives). We stimulate thought in our members aimed at personal and Fraternal improvement through our “Mosley’s Maxims”. Each year we strive to educate our members not only scholastically and fraternally, but with speakers and programs that teach our Brothers skills for life.
